Gateway Labrador and the White Wolf Snowmobile Club welcomed Iain Hayden to Labrador West as part of The Great Canadian Life Project.
Seven time Canadian Snocross Champion Iain Hayden was all the buzz in Labrador West as Canada 150 held the White Wolf Extreme Snowmobile Weekend!
Friday kicked off at 10am at the White Wolf Snowmobile Club where Ground Search and Rescue volunteers Connie Joy and Ian Greenham shared their expertise in snowmobile safety to local youth. Immediately following this session, Iain and local guides took the youth on a chalet hop. Each checkpoint provided participants a ticket. Once participants returned to the White Wolf Snowmobile Club with all of their tickets they had their name entered to win a snowmobile prize package valued at $700. Christian Penney was the lucky winner.

The next day, Iain Hayden and participants showed off their skills in an exciting snocross jumps which took place on Tanya Lake in Labrador City at 12pm noon. This was followed by a community trail ride on the world class Labrador Winter Trails system. That evening White Wolf hosted a BBQ and dance for ages 19+ with DJ Fred Felix.
Participants had a fantastic time and we are fairly certain, Labrador West has not seen the last of Iain Hayden!
