Fred Hutton (VOCM News Director) refered to Neil Simmons as Labrador West's window to the world. With over 2500 images published with The Telegram, The Downhomer, Here and Now, and NTV News. Also to his credit Neil has three national published magazine covers,and two pictures in a book by Robert Mullins commissioned by The Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. A freelance journalist photographer for The Telegram, The National Post and a member of The Canadian Press, Neil had the top picture in Canada for July 2013.
